Trip Overview

Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan is one of the best day tours in Nepal. On this day’s tour, the trekkers visit Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan, three of the major tourist destinations in Nepal.  The tour begins by visiting several essential Kathmandu sites recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First, we go to Pashupatinath Temple, where people worship the Hindu god Lord Shiva.

Next, we visit Boudhanath and Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, with the world’s largest stupas adorned with prayer flags and spinning wheels. We also explore the ancient palaces of Bhaktapur, Patan, and Basantapur, part of the Durbar Squares. These areas highlight the region’s rich culture through beautiful stone and wood carvings on pagoda-style temples and other buildings. These sites show the religious harmony and cultural heritage of Kathmandu.

After exploring Kathmandu, we will leave for Pokhara, where we will explore many amazing places like Fewa Lake, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, and others. Once completing Pokhara, we will head towards Chitwan. After a long drive towards Chitwan, we will reach the resort and rest there. We will enjoy the Chitwan Jungle Safari the next day and then continue exploring Chitwan for a few more days before returning to Kathmandu.
