Ruby Valley Trek Overview
The Ruby Valley trek is an underrated hidden gem in Nepal’s north-central part. The trekking route is in the Ganesh Himal region, between Langtang National Park and Manaslu Conservation Area. Trekkers can enjoy scenic elegance and the cultural and traditional virtues of Nepal’s remote location.
The journey to Ruby Valley is short and rewarding. It takes through the less crowded, off-beaten path of Dhading district. The trek starts with a drive to Syabrubesi and passes through the settlements of Chawatar, Gatlang, Somdang, Tipling, Chalis Gaon, Borang, and Dhading Beshi. The journey offers a mix of thrill and natural beauty, from providing stunning vistas to crossing Pangsang Pass.

View of Ganesh Himal Range, Langtang Lirung(7,300m), Lamjung Himal(6,800m), and Manaslu(8,163m) are jaw-dropping throughout the trek. Even the valley was named after the rich deposits of rubies in the region.
