How Safe is the Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour?

Chitwan Jungle Safari is considered one of Nepal’s easy to moderate-level tours. However, tourists should be wary of certain risks, factors, and dangers. They should always be focused and believe there is always the risk of touring in the jungle. Hence, tourists have to follow certain safety guidelines. Here are some ways tourists can stay safe during the Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour.

Follow Safety Briefings

Before starting the jungle walk, the guides explain safety rules to the group. They cover important points, such as staying together, keeping a safe distance from animals, understanding how animals behave, and using the marked paths.

Hire Experienced Guides

Tourists should always hire experienced guides during their travel to Chitwan National Park. They are extremely well trained in the safety measures of the behavior of wild animals and know how to apply first-aid measures. They provide easy navigation techniques, safety and security to tourists, and information on the history and present condition of the place, making the tour even more amazing.

Stay in Particular Trails and Pathways

The tourists must always pass through designated pathways and trails that are meant for them. It is imperative to stay on these pathways so tourists can avoid the risk of a wild animal attack, injury, or even fatal death.

Learn Animal Behavior

Guides help people understand animal behavior so they know how to respond if they see wildlife. They help to understand the particular behavior of animals during a particular time of the year. This reduces risks and encourages responsible actions during the walk.

Best Time for Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour

Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for trekkers and tourists worldwide. However, it is also important to time this tour efficiently to make it even more fun and entertaining. In Nepal, two seasons are highly popular for trekking and touring activities. They are the Spring and Autumn seasons. Spring season begins from March to May, whereas Autumn begins from October to November. So these four months are ideal for any tour package, including the Chitwan safari.

However, since this tour is not as tough and challenging as high-altitude treks, you can also include the winter as the best time for this safari tour. December and February are chilly, but they will also allow you to enjoy the tour. One season that is not ideal for the Chitwan jungle safari is the monsoon season, which begins from the middle of June to the end of August. The relentless rainfall, slippery roads, floods, and landslides make this season ineffective for trekking or Chitwan Jungle safari tours.

Dates & Prices

Our fixed departure dates and per-person pricing make it simple for both solo travelers and small groups to join the adventure. It’s a great chance to meet new people and share the experience with other trekkers. Just choose your preferred date, and we’ll take care of the rest.
