Niri Man Tamang is a professional trekking guide from the Tamang community of Sertung Village, located in the northern Dhading district of the Ganesh Himal Ruby Valley region of Nepal. Growing up in this remote Himalayan area, he developed a deep connection with mountains, nature, and local culture from an early age.
He began his trekking journey in 2014 as a porter and spent around four years working in different trekking routes across Nepal. During this time, he gained strong practical experience in mountain life, trekking logistics, guest care, and Himalayan culture.
Since 2020, he has been working as a licensed trekking guide, leading groups across some of Nepal’s most famous regions, including Manaslu and Tsum Valley, Annapurna, Everest, and Langtang.
