Arjun Gurung is a professional trekking guide from Khading Village in the northern Dhading district of the Ganesh Himal Ruby Valley region of Nepal. Born in a traditional Gurung community surrounded by the Himalayas, he developed a strong love for mountains, nature, and local culture from an early age.
He started his trekking career in 2018 as a porter and worked for several years in different trekking regions of Nepal. During this time, he gained valuable experience in mountain logistics, trail knowledge, guest service, and Himalayan culture.
Since 2022, he has been working as a licensed trekking guide and has successfully led groups in some of Nepal’s most famous trekking regions, including Tsum Valley and Manaslu, Annapurna, Langtang, Everest, Kanchenjunga, and Makalu.
